Compared to conventional liposuction, which removes only deep parts of the fatty tissue, VASER Hi Def precisely targets deep and superficial fat in order to enhance the visibility of underlying muscles.

Your Consultation
During your consultation, you will discuss how you feel about your body and what specific changes you would like to see. Dr. Schlaudraff will then examine your target areas and carefully evaluate the quality of the skin, fatty tissue, and underlying muscles.
This information will enable Dr. Schlaudraff to create a customized plan to meet your individual goals, possibly including recommendations for additional procedures such as a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), arm lift or thigh lift.
Surgical Procedure
Dr. Schlaudraff performs body contouring with VASER ultrasound assisted liposuction at a state-of-the-art plastic surgery center. During the surgery, undesired fatty tissue is gently liberated through the ultrasound energy and then aspirated. The surgery takes from 2 to 5 hours, depending on the number of treatment areas and the desired definition. Afterward, you are advised to stay in the hospital for usually 1 to 2 nights for optimal recovery.
Your Results
A few days following surgery, you can expect to resume light activities. Within 7 to 10 days you should be able to return to your normal level of activity. Any tenderness or bruising will fade within 1 to 4 weeks. After 12 weeks, you may resume strenuous physical activities. At this time your skin will be fully retracted, revealing your final results.
